A recent graduate from the University of Oxford with a master’s degree in Film Studies, Maia’s work and research have been devoted to the potential of film and media as platforms for questioning and rethinking the challenges that face contemporary society. This includes Maia’s experience working for TEDx as a Media Intern - filming, editing, and facilitating the marketing campaigns for a variety of innovative speaking events. Maia creatively collaborated with world leaders across various fields as they set out to tackle some of the most perplexing aspects of society and human nature. Subsequently, Maia worked in content curation and conservation for a digital film archive, helping to preserve thousands of historical records, documenting labor unions in the UK and various individuals’ struggle for human rights.
Over the last eight years, Maia has lived in several countries, including England, Spain, the Czech Republic, and the United States and brings her unique perspective to the developments of Spring Green Films.

Steve Sarowitz is Founder and Chairman of Paylocity (Nasdaq: PCTY), a leading U.S. provider of payroll and HR solutions. In addition, Steve also serves as CEO of Blue Marble, an international payroll provider, and as Director of Payescape, a UK payroll provider. He is also an international philanthropist with an interest in promoting unity and promoting universal education and advocating for the elimination of racism, sexism, nationalism and religious prejudice.
Three days after declaring as a Baha’i, a friend recommended that Steve make a film about the Baha’i Faith. Steve immediately began a new career in the film industry. He helped fund and promote the documentaries He Named Me Malala, Rosenwald and Brightness of Noon. He assisted as the Executive Producer for the award-winning documentary Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise and led the efforts behind the groundbreaking documentary about the founding of the Baha’i Faith, The Gate: Dawn of the Baha’i Faith.

Ford joins Spring Green Films with a diverse background in theatre, banking, engineering, and media.
After graduating with distinction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ford moved to California looking to create content that uplifted society with a world-embracing vision of unity. After an internship with SoulPancake, a media company with the mission to “chew on life’s big questions”, Ford spent several years as a project engineer for a construction firm, and worked on building the tallest building west of the Mississippi, the Wilshire Grand Center in downtown LA.
Now Ford has come home to Spring Green Films pursuing the team’s mission to create media that inspires unity.
